Rod Davis, a native Texan and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, began selling real estate in 1994 after spending 25 years working with the public in the school communications and public relations field. He holds the ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation from the National Association of Realtors.
A former reporter with United Press International, he is a nationally known education writer and consultant. He served 20 years as press officer for the Dallas Independent School District. Rod wrote School Public Relations: The Complete Book, published by the National School Public Relations Association, and was publisher of Texas Superintendents' Insider and Safe School News. He is a past president of the Texas School Public Relations Association and a past vice president of the National School Public Relations Association.
Rod's honesty and people skills make buyers and sellers feel very comfortable working with him, and his never-say-die attitude and positive results earn him many personal referrals from satisfied customers. His experience in working with customers in all neighborhoods--from $50,000 homes to $1 million estates--has taught him how to be a better communicator, negotiator and problem-solver when it comes to residential real estate.
Rod was previously a RE/MAX agent in Plano and along with his wife, Annie, worked as a team, which attained the highest RE/MAX designations, including Platinum Club and Hall of Fame.
